Copper

I thought it would be so cool to own my own house. Ha! It is great until it is your responsibility when things go wrong or things need to get done.

I spent all weekend doing yard work....mowing...cleaning gutters...trimming bushes....lopping off stray branches..going to the dump..Ya know...fun stuff. :P

THEN, adding insult to injury....we got 4" of rain in a short amount of time and so...I HAD SOME NICE WATER IN MY BASEMENT. 10 hours of sucking water out of the basement and I was totally exhausted.

A house...who needs one....

It could be two days in a row that I post an entry. This could be the start of something big. ;-)

Then again....maybe not.

Well, it looks like another month has passed since I last wrote. I guess I am not as open as I had hoped I would be about writing.

Now, that's not to say that I don't write. Cuz I do. I guess I just don't write it all here.

Today I am sure I am writing because it is my birthday and birthdays seem to have that power about them. They make you do things you wouldn't normally do. They make you reflect. They make you feel. They make you think.

I have been thinking how I have too much going on , and it all seems to be at once. Every weekend for the next 6 weeks, there is something going on. It's good to be busy for sure, but sometimes I just want to scream "I don't want anyone to need me to do something!" But then again, if I sat at home, I'd be bored.

Enuf said..

Well, started this journal two weeks ago, went on vacation and never seemed to get back to it.
I wonder what THAT says about me?

I am not sure about all of this just yet, but am taking the plunge and writing my first entry.

We'll see what the days bring.
